I love wood. How it looks, how it feels, how it behaves. 

I enjoy a beautiful grain of wood, its imperfections and flowing lines, with contrasts and varying degrees of color. I try to harmonize these elements into a pleasing form. By using various types of wood to complement each other - sometimes a simple smooth flowing grain, sometimes a wild, swirling, and complex burl - the magic and mystery of the woodwork is revealed.

My style is simple. As the various woods I use in my creations come from nature, I let the wood itself create the show. I try not to create abstract images made by man or machine but instead prefer to let the grains and natural colors of the wood enhance themselves as nature intended.

I enjoy creating works that will last lifetimes, and I feel a peace in knowing that what I create will be there long after I am gone. I hope you will enjoy my creations as much as I do.
